This is a quick pencil sketch of Anders and Sebastian (from Dragon Age 2) just hanging out. I imagined Anders said something sarcastic and awesome and Seb's giving him a bro fist in appreciation!

Two very polarising characters. The thing is it's hard to actually empathise with Sebastian if you happen to have played the games because he wholeheartedly supports the chantry, but after playing the first game it's very clear that it doesn't deserve such loyalty. This grates me on many levels.
Anders, by contrast, doesn't get much sympathy since his choices at the end of the game, despite the fact that it was the only really viable solution to a continental level religiously sanctified slavery. However, it's no often understood fully by people who don't get how powerful the chantry is.
What I find interesting is not that he's hated, it's that he hated for who he is and what his views are. Sebastian represents the standard views of the Thedas nobility.
